1. What are the choices of solar control films on the market today and how do they actually help me reduce exposure to the harmful effects of the sun? Why should I prefer Huper Optik® as compared to the rest?
It is true that there are a myriad of brands flooding the market today and consumers have a wide choice of solar control film. However it is crucial to note that the majority of these choices available are conventional films that have average heat rejection properties. The low prices associated with these films may be attractive, but they come with a severe compromise in performance and features.
The conventional series consist of dyed and metallised films. 4. During and after the film installation process, will I be exposed to complications of any nature?
There are no significant complications that might inconvenience the end-user. Though there may be occasional incidents when the adhesive or sealant does not adhere well, these reports are few and far between. In the event where the user decides to remove the window film, there will not be any permanent stains on the glass surface and any adhesive marks can be easily removed with common cleaning agents. Complications are not likely to arise if post-installation instructions are adhered.

5. Do Hüper Optik® films incorporate any safety features?
Our film provides anti-shattering properties but it is different from security films purely made for safety purposes. In the event of the glass being shattered or broken, especially during bad weather or upon sudden impact, our film holds the glass pieces together until the affected panes can be replaced. This minimises the chances of occupants getting hurt by broken glass pieces, a safety hazard that can be prevented by installing Hüper Optik films.
Hüper Optik® films are non-hazardous in nature due to the high grade of polyester used. They do not easily ignite below 500 °C and do not encourage flame spread. Also, there are no toxic emissions that could pose a danger to occupants.

6. Are the products and the manufacturing process environmentally friendly?
The raw materials comprise of either natural elements or are made up of environmentally friendly constituents. Similarly on the laminating adhesive employed in binding the film together belongs to a family of polymer that is environmentally safe. Hüper Optik® films do not emit any poisonous gases in the event of a fire that may endanger the occupants.

1. How do Hüper Optik® films help me keep my family, as well as home and office furniture in good condition?

2. What is the installation procedure and how long does it take?
The installation time depends on many factors. It has to take into consideration things like total glass surface area, shape of the glass, number of installers performing the job etc. For more complex jobs like skylights and overhead windowpanes, it would generally require more time and effort as special equipment like scaffolding may be necessary. However, a rough gauge for an average size apartment with the windows of the living room and two other rooms facing the sun would take about one afternoon to complete.
The installation is professionally done by our experienced team. Installation procedures for flat glass is briefly described below:
- Thoroughly cleaning the glass and removing all traces of dirt and debris
- Cutting the window film to the correct dimensions
- Applying the film onto the glass and eliminating all excess water by squeegee

3. Why can’t I just install window glass that comes with similar heat rejection properties?
There are very few, if any, window glass systems on the market today that is able to match the heat rejection properties as Hüper Optik® window film. Many glass manufacturers have claimed that their glass products have solar control properties but in actual fact, their capabilities pale in comparison to window film built specifically for this purpose.
For products such as Insulated Glass Units, Heat Mirrors and other kinds of glass panes that come with an insulation layer encased, they come at exorbitant prices as manufacturers have to devote extra time and production resources to infuse these special characteristics onto the glass. Besides, these products are prone to various forms of glass failures. In these instances, the entire glass pane would have to be replaced and this contributes to even higher costs. In contrast, Hüper Optik® actually helps save consumers’ costs by providing this retrofit function of separately coating film onto glass.
